Final Fantasy 16 intends to advance the action RPG genre that was introduced by Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake in terms of gameplay. All other group members will be controlled by AI while you play as Clive alone. Our protagonist can cast spells as foes come to him and immediately engage in sword combat while using a teleportation technique if the situation requires to do that.
Story in Final Fantasy XVI
Instead of the recent games that included present or even future elements to the world settings, Final Fantasy 16 will return to the traditional fantasy roots of the franchise. Valisthea is divided into six kingdoms: the Kingdom of Waloed, the Dhamekian Republic, the Holy Empire of Sanbreque, the Iron Kingdom, and the Crystalline Dominion. Thanks to its Mothercrystal, each kingdom has access to magic, as well as a single Dominant who has the ability to call upon Eikons.
The protagonist of the game Final Fantasy XVI is Clive Rosfield. He was anticipated to succeed his father as ruler of the Grand Duchy of Rosaria. Instead, he serves as guardian for Joshua, his younger brother, who became the Dominant, a person with the ability to manifest powerful magic. Joshua can use magic based on fire because his Eikon is the fire elemental Phoenix.
